I
launched Wedding Answers in April 2008 as a service to help
brides,
grooms and their loved ones organise their perfect wedding day.
When
I organised my own wedding back in 2004 I was shocked that so little
information was available to help pick the perfect components of our
day.
We got engaged in New York, which was amazing, but then couldn't find a
wedding ring that would match my engagement ring! Luckily, five weeks
before the wedding we found an amazing jeweller, Andrew at Aurum Jewellers,
who agreed to design and custom make a wedding ring that would
complement my engagement ring! My husband also managed to find a ring
with what was left of our ring budget! Ha!
We got married in Comlongon Castle, Dumfries on New Years Eve 2004. We
even had fireworks at midnight :) It was the most perfect day but it
took such a long time to organise that I vowed to
create a
website that would put wedding suppliers at the fingertips of
couples planning their own weddings.
It is only now that we have just had our first child that I have
finally got the chance to put my wish into action! See, all dreams do
come true!
